Windows on the Past

Every building on the High Street has lived more than one life.

93 HIGH STREET, BRIDLINGTON

Properties on the High Street were renumbered at the start of the 1900s. This property was previously Number 99.

In 1899, this property was occupied by the Black Lion Hotel.

The street is decorated in anticipation of the Lord Mayor of London's visit in 1906. No 93 is on the left-hand side of this photograph.
