Windows on the Past

Every building on the High Street has lived more than one life.

91 HIGH STREET, BRIDLINGTON

Properties on the High Street were renumbered at the start of the 1900s. This property was previously Number 98.

In 1899, No 91 was occupied by Robert Coupland, Fruiterer.

In this early 20th Century photograph, No 91 can be seen as Frank Robson's Wallpaper and Paint stores. Modern windows were installed in the late 20th century.
