Windows on the Past

Every building on the High Street has lived more than one life.

77 HIGH STREET, BRIDLINGTON

Properties on the High Street were renumbered at the start of the 1900s. This property was previously Number 91.

In 1899, Frederick Wilson was the proprietor of the Queen's Hotel.

This photograph dating from the mid 20th Century shows the publican Thomas G. Robinson and his customers outside the Queen's Hotel pub. They are possibly preparing for an outing.
